A Master's in Applied Arts and Sciences Portfolio
Nearing the end of my MAAS program, I found I was disappointed that no feminist courses were offered and I was hoping there would be. I stepped out of my comfort zone and requested an Independent Study course on feminist authors of my choice, and Dr. Hephzibah Roskelly was more than happy to instruct me. My favorite author was Simone de Beauvoir.
Hepsie wanted me to write a final reflection on all the feminist authors I read and tie them together. They were all women who set a true goal early in life, and they all achieved their goals.
